49 CFR Part 367
Also known as: UCR Fee Regulation
By Korey Sharp-Paar · Reviewed by the Fast Trucking Compliance team
Definition
49 CFR Part 367 is the federal regulation that implements the UCR statute, setting the fee schedule by fleet-size bracket and the procedures the UCR Plan uses to collect and distribute fees. The Part 367 fee tables are updated by FMCSA rulemaking (the UCR Plan board only recommends fee changes), and fees stay in place until a later rulemaking changes them (91 FR 56063). The tables list the dollar amount each bracket owes in a given registration year. The schedule for registration year 2027 and later is in 49 CFR 367.50, effective October 1, 2026; the 2025 and 2026 schedule is in 49 CFR 367.40. Each schedule has six brackets, from 0–2 vehicles to 1,001 or more.
