Enter a USDOT number and we pull that carrier's FMCSA record (MCS-150 last-filed date, fleet size, out-of-service flag, authority status), then compute every upcoming federal filing deadline based on standard cycles (MCS-150 every 24 months, UCR every December 31, Form 2290 every August 31). The calendar shows critical, upcoming, and informational items so you know exactly what to file and when.
The MCS-150 biennial update is due every 24 months on a schedule set by your USDOT number. A missed update can lead to civil penalties and deactivation of the USDOT number (49 CFR 390.19T(b)(4)); filing the update reactivates it. The calendar shows your next-due date based on your last filing.
UCR registration runs on the calendar year — every interstate carrier must renew by December 31. UCR is a separate annual registration enforced by participating states; it is not a condition of FMCSA operating authority.
Only carriers with at least one vehicle 55,000 lbs gross vehicle weight or heavier. Brokers and freight forwarders do not. Our calendar surfaces 2290 whenever the FMCSA fleet-size field is > 0 — if you only run light-duty vehicles, you can ignore that row.
FMCSA audits every new motor carrier roughly 12 months after their MC authority activates. The audit verifies your safety management system: MCS-150 current, insurance active, drug and alcohol testing program in place, driver qualification files complete. Failure can extend the audit period or in serious cases revoke authority.
